Move beyond while(1) loops. This course teaches you how a preemptive RTOS actually works — not just the API, but the scheduling theory underneath it.

You’ll port FreeRTOS onto a Cortex-M board and build a multi-task application that talks over UART, reads a sensor on a timer, and handles button interrupts safely.

What makes this course different

Most RTOS tutorials stop at “here’s how to create a task.” We go further into priority inversion, stack overflow debugging, and interrupt-safe communication between ISRs and tasks — the stuff that actually breaks in production.

Prerequisites

Comfortable with C and pointers. Some bare-metal experience recommended (see Embedded C & Firmware Foundations).
